Artlink is looking for at least three people to join our Board.<\/p>\n
As well as being non-executive directors of the company limited by guarantee, Board members are also trustees of the charity. Trustees\/ Board members have the duties of directors under general company law and also the law which relates to charitable trustees. You will work with your fellow Board members to give strategic direction and to ensure accountability.<\/p>\n
We are particularly interested in hearing from you if you have experience in any of the following:<\/p>\n
\u2022 Lived experience of disability, or being a carer
\n\u2022 Governance, particularly in the voluntary sector
\n\u2022 Cultural involvement (within any discipline)
\n\u2022 Safeguarding of vulnerable adults or young people
\n\u2022 Socially driven fundraising<\/p>\n
You do not have to have previous experience of being a Board member\/ trustee of a charity and appropriate training and support will be given.<\/p>\n
