Art is a powerful means of communication. It can highlight issues of concern in a way that makes people reflect on their own experiences. We are committed to commissioning artists to investigate and reflect on particular social issues. We want to find out how art can contribute more specifically to people's living environments and want to continue to create opportunities where artists can learn from working within these situations and create powerful works of art.
