Autism Ideas in Midlothian
OPEN CALL FOR IDEAS
Imagine an interior design workshop for sensory spaces on a budget
Imagine an event which looks at communication without using words, but in how we gesture
Imagine a presentation by students and teachers about the simplest things that have made a difference in the classroom
Imagine a live concert for people with sound sensitivity
Midlothian Council have published an autism strategy, and the first action from it is to get people who are involved in autism (in any way) talking about it from their perspective.
We want to create a programme of events about autism in a way that interests you (and about any aspect of life) – home, classroom, workplace, politics, media or social life.
If you are connected in any way to autism, and have an inkling of an idea – no matter how vague or odd, please get in touch and we can help turn it into an event which other people would enjoy taking part in.
No idea will be considered silly – these events will allow us to think differently, learn something new or meet people with shared experiences.
